Senior Portrait Controversy

1. Who decides what the senior portraits will look like at the Durango High School?
The senior portraits at the Durango High School are supposed to show off students interests therefore the decision is up to the students
2. Who has ultimate control over the content of the yearbook at Durango High School? The yearbook editors have the approval of pictures that go in the yearbook.
3. How is the Durango High School yearbook senior portraits different from the Akins yearbook?Here at Akins High School we dont have much freedom in senior portraits , in Durango High School the seniors get to choose what they want.
4. Do you think students who attend the school should be able to submit any photo they want for their senior portrait? Why?In my opinion i think they should be able to submit any photo they want for their senior portrait , that somehow shows/brings out creativeness in students, as long as its appropiate of course.
5.Or do you think every one's senior portrait should look the same like how we have it at Akins? Why?
I like what Durango High School does in letting the seniors decide what picture they want to display as their senior portrait , it gives it a bit more life and the book is more eye catching than just regular monotone pictures of all the students.

6. Why do you think the student editorial board changed its decision about using the photo?
Shes showing off too much skin according to them ..
